Joe Maddon Has Managed His Last Game for the Cubs

The Chicago Cubs had a total of 22 innings AT Wrigley Field to advance themselves into the NLDS, and yet they were only able to manage 2 runs of offense. After winning the World Series a couple years ago, this Cubs team was supposed to be the beginning of a dynasty. However, they have failed to live up to expectations.

Ben Maller thinks that someone has to go down for this, and it definitely isn't going to be any of the core players on the roster. Therefore, it seems likely that Joe Maddon will end up "resigning" as Cubs manager.
