Tua Tagovailoa Says He's Right on Pace For a Full Recovery From Hip Injury

Listen to former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa join The Dan Patrick Show to talk about his current health status heading into a 2020 NFL Draft that could potentially turn volatile at the quarterback position.

Tagovailoa is essentially locked into the number two position behind LSU’s Joe Burrow at QB at this point, but you have to wonder what type of debate would be going on had Tagovailoa never gotten hurt last season.

There are plenty of pundits who believe Tagovailoa could still go no. 1, but Tagovailoa dislocated hip that he suffered at the end of the regular season in 2019 was the same catastrophic injury that ended NFL legend Bo Jackson’s career.

Tua finished his career at Alabama with 87 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions, and won a National Championship as a freshman when he relieved starter Jalen Hurts at the half against Georgia, and brought the Crimson Tide back in one of the most heroic comebacks ever led in the history of college football.

Tua would replace Hurts as starter in 2018, but would eventually be annihilated by Clemson in the National Championship Game.

Check out the interview above (FULL interview below) as Tagovailoa details to Dan Patrick that his rehab is going just as planned.
