TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the team will be holding its second annual “Roadrunners Fan Fest” on Saturday, September 15 at the Tucson Convention Center from 3-5 p.m.
Celebrating the unofficial start of hockey season in the Old Pueblo, all Roadrunners fans are welcome to attend this free event. Activities will include a closeout sale with heavily discounted merchandise items and a chance to win prizes at the Roadrunners social nest and more.
One exclusive merchandise item that will be discounted at Fan Fest will be Roadrunners jerseys, reduced to just $75 for youth sizes and $100 for adults.
Ticket packages will also be on sale and for one day only, the purchase of a package comes with a merchandise credit for up to $100 that can be utilized on merchandise at the event.
Season Ticket Members are also encouraged to pick up their tickets for the season at the event. Photo opportunities with Dusty the Roadrunner and the Truly Nolen Zamboni will also be available.
All attending are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Banner Children’s Hospital at Diamond Children’s Medical Center in Tucson. All donated toys will be delivered to the Toy Closet at Diamond Children’s, allowing young patients to choose a new toy after undergoing procedures or treatments.
Tickets for the Roadrunners Opening Night on Saturday, October 6 against the San Diego Gulls at Tucson Arena are on sale now. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. and tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or by visiting the Tucson Convention Center box office.
