The College Football Playoff just completed its first 12-team tournament to decide its National Championship and Ohio State is the first team to climb that mountain. But along with any first-year endeavors, we saw some first-year problems. Doug and news anchor Dan Beyer consider how things are likely to change moving forward, as soon as next season.
Doug Gottlieb: “I don’t believe we had the best 12 teams play for a National Championship, I just don’t. I thought it was a first year and the first year, like coaching, like first-year radio show, like a first year of marriage, wrought with flaws. But I think the biggest flaw was; those weren’t the 12 best teams and they were seeded in a way that wasn’t representative of even how they would have been seeded if you did say they were the 12 best teams.”
Dan Beyer: “And we’re going to see change for sure...possibly as soon as next year.”
