On a new edition of The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, the guys react to Bronny James receiving MVP chants in Washington after the Lakers dominated the Wizards and how the continuation of Bronny James in the news is completely over covered and irrelevant, but also why we can't really blame LeBron.
Jason Smith: "Bronny James played 12 minutes tonight, and scored five points. This story is tremendously over covered and it's absolutely irrelevant. Did the Lakers draft Bronny James because they have LeBron? Absolutely, because the Lakers want headlines. We know that if you can't win championships, you have to go for headlines. You can blame the LeBron for a lot of things, but not for this, because this story really is being over covered."
Mike Harmon: "He was starting to play a little more consistently on both ends of the court and so you see if you can catch lightning in a bottle now, but then it becomes he's the reason they lost and then trying to, you know, make it the indictment of all things wrong with the world, instead how about just enjoy it for what it is or don't, there's plenty of other stories on the roadside."
